ABOUT DAN

Dan Grant is the bestselling author of The Singularity Witness, Thirteen Across, and The Singularity Transfer.

In life, Dan has taken the road less traveled.  Crossroads have been faced with a mix of apprehension and an explorer’s passion.  But the paths people take help make them who they are.  “Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail,” Ralph Waldo Emerson.

He developed storytelling aspirations as an undergraduate at Northern Arizona University, when writing was counter to completing a degree in electrical engineering.  Yet, engineering provided the good fortune to work with aspects of medicine, science, technology, and military projects.  These behind the scenes experiences allowed him to bookmark “what if” scenarios and ask questions to a variety of deeper storylines.

His desire is to tell stories seeded with ethical and moral quandaries, stories filled with big questions and set against a tapestry of science, medicine, or technology.  When and where possible, Dan explores and walks the locations mentioned in the stories, which allows to be more authentic on the settings.

Dan lives in Colorado with his family and two dogs.  He’s working a Kate Morgan sequel titled Thirteen Markers.
